Safety in the Home
A very important function of the Home Health Aide is to promote a safe environment for the patient in the home setting. Follow our four detectives and their Chief as they investigate the four main aspects of Environmental Management: basic human needs, safety and physical hazards, transmission of pathogens, and sanitation. Specific interventions to control the patient’s environment which promote optimal functioning and wellness are presented effectively with the help of graphics and light humor.
